This report was rather late because at the time of the last regular session by the ABC, last July 1, everybody was so busy celebrating the First Anniversary of their public service with so many activities that time.

During the regular session of the Association of Barangay Captains (ABC) presided by the Hon. Teresita B. Maminta, of Brgy. Calzada, last July 15, the Hon. Mayor Titos Reyes and Hon. Vice Mayor Alimar Briana took the opportunity to report the accomplishments that the Local Government Unit of Mabini had finished regarding the restoration of public schools that were damaged by the typhoon “Cosme”. This report was rather late because at the time of the last regular session by the ABC, last July 1, everybody was so busy celebrating the First Anniversary of their public service with so many activities that time.

Later on, the much-awaited Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (PHILHEALTH) ID cards were distributed to the active members of this agency. These members are being sponsored by our great governor Gov. Amado T. Espino. Mayor Titos and Vice Ali themselves were the ones who gave these ID’s through the members of the ABC who in turn will distribute to their constituents.

The number of members who received their ID’s and are entitled for the benefits that PHILHEALTH is giving is listed below:

However, the validity period of the said ID’s is from December 16, 2007 until December 15, 2008. This report on members was validated by PHILHEALTH Dagupan.

Secondly, the ID’s of the municipal employees were issued as well by Mayor Titos and Vice Alimar. They ordered the employees to wear their ID’s at all times while in the municipal premises. This would rather benefit our constituents who would enter the municipal building not knowing whom to approach . With our pinned ID’s this time, they could already discern between an employee and a visitor.

Yesterday, July 16, another set of GI sheets was received by the LGU. They again stored these 2,000 pieces of GI sheets at the storage room to be distributed later to the needy families.
