The month-long celebration of the Nutrition Month this July pays tribute to Moms and their kids. The Department of Health, National Nutrition Council and LGU Mabini enjoin in a well-mounted array of activities on the culmination this coming 29th. The aforementioned event will be held at the Municipal public gymnasium at 8:00 a.m.

The basic necessities of man to have a normal and enjoyable life is food, clothing, and shelter. Last May 17, many families were temporarily deprived of these needs. Most Mabinians were affected by the intense anger of nature manifested by typhoon “Cosme”. Houses were blown down as well as their livestock and livelihood were damaged to the extent of zero production.

After Cosme's outbreak, LGU Mabini keeps a fast tract in monitoring repairs and rehabilitations of barangays, most especially educational institutions. Mayor Titos Reyes discloses that an immediate functional action towards those depressed by the previous calamity must have to move on at par and in this regard, fogging system takes an in tune turn to replenish areas against the ravaging threat of dengue and related diseases brought by the typhoon’s remnants.

1st ANNIVERSARY OF PUBLIC SERVICE |

It was an early morning mass that started the first anniversary of Titos-Ali tandem which was celebrated by Fr. Alfred Viernes. Everyone attended and listened to the inspiring homily of Fr. Alfred reminding us to value what our past leaders had left us because they are always watching us on our daily service to our fellow Mabinians. After which, Mayor Titos and Vice Alimar delivered also their messages. And an announcement was made that every first Friday of the month, all municipal employees are requested to attend the Holy Mass at 4 o’clock in the afternoon. |

Dental Mission: A Well Celebrated Success |

The much-participated Dental Mission of the LGU Mabini the other day, July 1, garners an appeal of a crowd must not miss, and it did!
Activities such as tree planting along side the public cemetery, info-disseminating symposia conducted by RHU’s from the Provincial Government and various municipalities of Pangasinan. A motorcade as well as feeding. There were about almost 100 patients, some of which made it for consultation, but majority goes for major dental procedures. Among the doctors who were with the LGU volunteers were Dr. Catherine Reyes, Dr. Evelyn Montevergen and Dr. Eloy Bueno.
